Here is what you'll need to make this tasty recipe:
Raw Tahini Butter - 1/4 cup
Black Sesame Seeds - 2 tablespoon
Cucumber - 1 medium
Fresh Ginger - 1 tablespoon
Fresh Tumeric - 1/2 inch
Fresh Garlic - 2 cloves
Lemon - 1/2 (juiced)
Orange - juiced
Raw Manuka Honey - 1 tablespoon
Fresh Parsley - 1/3 cup
Mint Leaves - 1/3 cup
Follow the instructions below:
Place all in blender except parsley and mint until smooth. Then add minced herbs to finish off:)
Sesame seeds are one of those superfoods that is disregarded compared to other seeds and nuts. I'm going to "open up" some health benefits to you. They have high amounts of calcium, magnesium and copper which are tremendously good for your bones due to arthritis and inflammation. Their mineral content are helpful with asthma and respiratory diseases as well. There are a couple kinds of sesame seeds, but the one that stands out most is the Black Sesame Seeds. I use it a often to keep the grey out of my hair:) Also amazing for constipation and regularities, makes this a superfood in my book.
btw...when picking the seeds, choose organic and non roasted whenever possible. When they are "hulled", they are 50% less of mineral content, which is how they make the butter.
